Creating videos was not at all part of my plan. And yet... after numerous projects with JinkLab Creation, it was an obvious choice. Working on a video project like Tastes Like Chicken or The Wrong Airbnb is simply incredible. These films reminded me just how powerful images can be when they're sensual, intentional, mischievous... and above all, ethical. Between a perfectly mastered shot and a giggle behind the camera, I felt the urge to explore video in my own way, with my own voice.

And so here I am: ready to open a new chapter, familiar but resolutely new.

Why video, and why now?

Because after tasting creativity with videos, I discovered just how much this medium speaks to me: the textures, the atmospheres, the possibility of conveying my presence in a way other than through text. Video allows me to show these subtleties (posture, intention, breath...) which are at the heart of my profession.

And of course, my skeptical side hasn't disappeared. I wondered if I could create “spicy” content that remained artistic, ethical and consistent with my values.

Answer: yes. But it requires rigor, reflection, and a healthy indifference to the sirens of buzz.

What's more, the video helps me reach people who aren't (yet) ready to come to a session, to show them female domination. à la Inanna and spread my art around the world.

The learning curve

Creating my own videos is a mixture of mastery and chaos. One minute I feel like a great director; the next, I'm struggling with a temperamental tripod. Editing software has too many opinions. Microphones are divas. Lights are having a crisis. I'm far from mastering it all!

And I love it. It's surprisingly refreshing to be a beginner again in one aspect of my job!

What you'll see (and what you'll never see)
